Spring has sprung!

I hope I'm not shooting myself in the foot - so to speak - for actually saying that outloud ... well, outloud in my head..oh, you know what I mean! It is BEAUTIFUL outside and has been for about the last 3 days. Of course, it rained all day on Easter so the kids were forced to "hunt" eggs indoors but they didn't seem to mind. We now have enough candy to rival Willie Wonka but it's all good.

*side note - James! You'd better get over here and take care of some of this candy! hee...hee....*


Olivia is a junk food junkie. She will shove an entire piece of candy into her mouth - wrapper and all!! OUCH! It makes my teeth hurt thinking of chomping on some foil but she doesn't seem to mind. Sophie and Emme are just stuck on the peeps. No discrimination - pink ones, yellow ones - doesn't matter. All that marshmallowy-sugary stickiness ..... mmmmmmmmm, makes my stomach turn just thinking about it.

We dyed eggs and the easter bunny came. Then we went to my inlaws house to all the cousins and such and then back over here for my family to eat and visit. Have I mentioned how HAPPY I am that there are NO MORE holidays for a while!?? These holidays wear me out! It's exhausting.

Took the girls for some spring pics at Biedenharn museum. It was BEAUTIFUL! Here are a few pics from that adventure....









It's IMPOSSIBLE to get them to all look at you at the same time. Almost comical if it wasn't so irritating.

Anyway - we are all well (except for allergies -- especially Emme! She has them bad! poor baby.) health wise and are glad that we can now get outside for a bit!

At least until the mosquitoes come.....
