Spring Break

This past week Adam and Sophie were on Spring Break and we have had nothing but family togetherness!! *whew*
Now we need a vacation from our vacation.

I always wonder if other people's kids climb on them as much as ours do. When other people go to places with their kids, do their kids play on whatever they are there to play on/with or do they crawl all over their mom and dad like my kids do?

WHY IS THAT??

Adam said the other day that we really only need one room. One side can just have a couple of mattresses on the floor and the rest is just space needed for crawling (ON US!) about. Maybe a couch or two. Guess a bathroom is needed somewhere.
It's TRUE! No matter what all is in the house or what there is to do - it's inevitable that the kids are going to be crawling on top of us for the majority of the time.

*sigh*

One day we went to the park and played. It was a bit chilly with the wind but if you had the sun shining on you - it was okay. The kids had a good time. It was nice to get out of the house. Here are a few pics .....

Another day, we drove over to Jackson (2 hours) to go to the zoo. The kids had a good time although the car ride could've been a little shorter for Olivia's liking. We ate at the Macaroni Grille and it was really good. I wish we would get one of those around here. The weather was alright - it could've been a *bit* warmer but we bundled up and it was fine. Thankfully, it waited to start raining until we left! Here are a few pics.....

Olivia ...

no, we didn't let her ride like that by herself but she did want to sit there by herself - OF COURSE!

Emme ..

That was really about all we did as far as going places. We mostly hung around the house and did "stuff". Played outside, played together, watched movies and ate popcorn, basically just hung out together and that was fine with us.

Wasn't really Spring and it wasn't really a break but it was GREAT!
