Career change?
Adam and I have been kicking around the idea of me possibly trying to get on as a Teacher's Aide at the school in the fall and now it looks as if it could really happen!! EEK!
Of course, that would mean that Olivia would go to Pre-K 3 and that she would need to be potty trained and all of that FREAKS ME OUT!! She is my baby! My baby in school?? I really think she's ready sometimes and then other times she seems so clingy to me and doesn't want to be so independant yet. She is familiar with the school and with the teachers and such and likes to go in and play but I'm not sure about all the other stuff. She does follow direction well and is normally fine with going off on her own and playing and such. I don't know .... it's probably just me. Then we will face the problem of do we hold her back later on like in pre-K 4 or Kindergarten?? I would prefer her to be older - like we did with Sophie and Emme - but who's to say that she won't be ready? I know a lot can happen over the summer and she will almost be 3 if/when she started. It's just scary/weird/sad/nervewrecking to think of her going to pre-K already. THAT'S MY BABY!!
I think I would really like it though. I know lots of the teachers very well and think that it would be fun. Also, the extra money would be nice. It's such a great school and I feel like I'm up there so often anyway! I don't think it's something that I would like to do forever but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
