Pumpkins on Parade
Halloween has come and gone (thankfully)! Now, if the candy would just dissappear before my ass becomes even WIDER! Ugh. Shudder at the thought .....
RO had pumpkins on parade again this year and it was quite the impressive show of pumpkins - as usual. I believe that no one is stating the obvious. It's a competition between the PARENTS, people!! No one is beliving that your 3 year old decorated a pumpkin up to be a John Deere tractor!! That hamburger pumpkin with real patties and cheese and such in it was really clever but I highly doubt that your 4 year old pulled that one off!! It's CRAZY!!! The overall best pumpkin was really cute! It was a pumpkin painted brown and made to look like a mustang. Cute...very cute but are we so DUMB that we are to really buy that a 5 year old came up with the concept and pulled that one off?!!? UGH!!!!
ANYWAY ---
We went. It was fun. Sophie won second place in the character portion of the contest. Adam DID help her BUT it was her idea and she told us the colors, the way to do it, etc. They did it together. It was cool!! It was a gourd dragon. Here it is....
Sophie went dressed as Violet Incredible and Emme was a princess ...
Olivia had to be a little princess, too.
A fun time was had by all!
Hmmmmm.... we need ideas for next year's contest. Looks as though we are going to have to start NOW!!!
