Holiday Haze
I have been lost in a holiday haze!
It seems that for the past couple of months - I have hit the ground RUNNING! There seems to ALWAYS be something going on. It's CRAZY!
Since I last checked in there have been several Halloween parties, Halloween, birthday parties, pep rallies, a wedding reception (in Austin!), football playoff games, a state championship (WOO! Go, Mustangs!), Thanksgiving feasts, a Thanksgiving school break, a banquet, a couple of night's out to see various bands, work, cooking for large crowds, a mammogram, the dentist, a party or two (for adults!), a visit from friends, sick kids, sick self, several meetings, mom's club activities, a surprise birthday party, shopping, a Christmas program, Christmas parties, baked goods, a catering gig, and now Christmas break.
Still to go we have an observation of dance, Christmas Adam, Christmas eve dinner with the family, Christmas day with the inlaws, work and more work and various other obligations and committments.
Wow. I'm tired.
It's been hectic and I guess I can mostly say that it's been fun. Okay! Okay! It's been fun. In a run yourself ragged sorta way but I bet I will do it all over again.
We are wrapped and ready for Christmas. Well, MOSTLY! Adam still has his traditional run out on December 23rd and search frantically for the "perfect gift" time to go. Better him than me.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
