Christmastime
We are gearing up for Christmas around here and so far we have only had three ornaments broken. Not too bad considering that Olivia is quite the scamp about town. Oddly enough, I think that it has actually been Sophie and Emme that have broken then. :(
I had prepared myself for the tree to actually be toppled so I guess a few broken ornaments are pretty good. Thank goodness for hot glue guns.
The girls are excited about Santa coming and so am I. We have just been chugging along like normal. Sophie has her Christmas program coming up and she is going to be signing the first verse of Away in a Manger. Her teacher says that she is VERY good in languages. She picks up on things so easily and retains them. At school, they take Spanish and she is the best in her class! We are so proud of her!
Emme is getting taller and thinner and is so sweet. She has been going through a bit of a clingy stage lately though. She is stuck to me most of the time and doesn't want to participate - until it's time to leave, of course! She is doing very well in gymnastics! She loves it and is really advanced because she has the advantage of an older sister that shows her all the "moves", etc.
Olivia is ONE OF A KIND!!! She is a climber. *sigh*
The other day, I walked into the kitchen and she was sitting up in the middle of the table and splashing in some spilt milk. Just having a BALL!! *ugh*
I hate when that happens cause you want to get to them as quickly as possible but you don't want to freak out TOO much cause you don't want to scare them and then they fall or something. It's a fine line.
She climbs on anything and everything and will get VERY pissed off if things don't quite go her way. She can pitch a little fit already. She will growl and grumble at you to let you know that she disapproves. She is SO smart, too that it's really scary.
I LOVE my girls and Christmas time really just makes me want to hug on them even MORE (if it's possible)!!!
No pics at this time but a little birdy told me that we were getting a new digital camera (ours broke) for Christmas so I'll have some SOON!! :)
