More Happenings ...

Olivia is a little monkey! I swear. For the longest time you know, we have called her a little goat cause she will try to eat ANYTHING! She's so bad about putting stuff in her mouth ... leaves are still an all-time favorite. BUT, now she has started CLIMBING!! For goodness sake, she's 11 months old!!! I thought I had PLENTY of time for that! I looked around the other day and she was sitting in the middle of the coffee table! She had pulled out one of the drawers and used it as a step to crawl onto the table! Thankfully, we have Sophie and Emme to tell us when she does this rather quickly. Then, I was sitting in the big chair and she pushed the ottoman up to me and crawled onto it and then into the chair with me!!! YIKES!
Last night, I was running her bath and she had a leg over the tub before I could even get her undressed.

Help.

She is soooooooooooo freaking busy and FAST! She is keeping me on my toes. She's so funny though .. she is the best baby. Last night , we were being goofy and we were laughing about something ... we looked over at Olivia and she was shaking her head and started laughing ... like she's laughing AT us! What's that all about!?!? I think she knows we are crazy and she can't believe she's stuck with us. hee..hee....

She is also walking a bit more ... about 3 or 4 steps is all that she can muster at a time though but that's okay! I'm in no hurry.

Yesterday morning, I spent most of the morning going through baby clothes It was hard to get rid of some of those things. It's sad to think that there will be no more babies in the house. I know that we are through having little ones but it's still sad. I had pulled out tons of clothes to give to a friend BUT, then Adam came in and pulled a lot out. He was saying "You can't get rid of THIS! or THIS! What about this!?" I still have gotten an entire hefty bag FULL of stuff. I should be ashamed. BUT, it is 3 kids worth of baby clothes.

Sophie has started Kindergarten and she is LOVING it so far! She has adjusted to staying all day just fine and she says that she lays down but never goes to sleep. She gets to take Teddy with her and she says he's enjoying it, too. She has also branched out on the eating more! She is usually so picky but she is eating more new things and has eaten in the cafeteria on several occasions. I make her lunch sometimes, too. She rides there in the morning with Adam and then I pick her up in the afternoon.

Emme has adjusted to her being gone, too. She is the queen bee now. Bossing Olivia around like she has learned from the best. ;)

I thought that maybe once school started and such that things would calm down and I wouldn't be as busy.

I was wrong.
