In the beginning...

Ok....ok, cheesy. Whatever.

Guess I'll tell a little bit about me. I'm a 36 year old mom to 3 beautiful girls. The oldest, Sophie will be six in September and she is a "mini-me" of my husband. A strange thing happened around age 2 or so. She slowly morphed into the exact replica of him...her eyes turned green, her nose elongated and *poof*..there he (she) was looking up at me with blonde hair and delicate fingers. Don't get me wrong, she always somewhat looked like him but I'm talking CLONE!
Emme is our middle child and so far suffers none of the "middle-child syndrome" that you hear people talk about. She will turn 3 years old in October. She is somewhat of a combination of the both of us but has this dark ringlet-curled hair. Not sure where that came from but we like it! Beautiful big blue eyes and quite a personality...fiercly independant. She is a little scamp and we get a kick out of her daily.
Olivia is our baby and will be 1 year old in September...four days after Sophie's birthday to be exact. Hmmm...that Christmas vacation seemed to do the trick as far as conceiving our kids. Hee.
Olivia is more everything than the other two are/were....more vocal, more active. She cries more but laughs more and is into EVERYTHING! She is beautiful with her blue eyes and long lashes. She's got a gap between her two front teeth that make me smile daily. I'm afraid she may be stuck with the looks of her Mommy.

It's amazing how similiar but yet how different each of our girls are. Boy, that sounds fairly schizophrenic, doesn't it?

I have been married to Adam for 8 years & we have been a couple for slightly longer. My story is one of those that I KNEW he and I would be together. I even told my mom that he was the guy I would marry. No one believed me but I showed them! HA! He is such a great man, father, husband. If you know him then I am positive that you know what I'm talking about.

*Gush*Gush*

Anyway - In addition to being a mom and a wife, I'm somewhat of a semi-retired singer. I had thought of the possibility of returning to the stage but then became pg. with Olivia. Just didn't seem right getting up there with big belly and all. Someday...maybe? Who knows. I'm also a nurse by profession. That has taken a back seat to being a Mom and wife though. Both of those jobs I truly love and am constantly learning and growing and trying not to screw up. I love my life! I love my family and I look forward to sharing some of that with whomever may be interested.
